Today at the 56th United Nations Human Rights Council Session, IHRC Chief called on the Excellency Volker Turk, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights. Both discussed the ongoing Human Rights issues related to migration and refugees in different parts of the world. They agreed to enhance cooperation between the two institutions to address the global state of human rights and the need to enforce the principles of human rights. They also agreed to meet individually to discuss more effective cooperation between the International Human Rights Commission-IHRC and OHCHR.
